Tom Henderson will discuss the military service of four World War I soldiers. Using family information and online databases like Fold3, Ancestry.com, and FamilySearch.org, researchers can piece together the military service records of American soldiers through company rosters, troop ship passenger lists, unit histories, and individual service records. Although military records can be difficult to find and to search, online sources make it much easier for genealogists to gather details about their ancestor's military service.
